Jesus is very clear that we are to spread the Gospel. All Christians are called into this services and we at Woodlawn are serious about that calling. We are involved in mission both locally and internationally throughout the year. Each summer we send out a team that spends a week in Honduras. Our youth group is involve in various service projects in the city.
Honduras
Each summer, our team serves in Honduras through an organization called BMDMI. (Baptist Medical Dental Mission International) While there, the team provides a medical services, pharmacy, dental care, eye screenings, and veterinary care to the people of the host village and surrounding area. Most importantly the Gospel of Jesus Christ is preached to all who come to receive care.
Local Missions
Missions isn't just international. Missions happen right here at home too. We strive to be involved in our local community and share the love our Christ with our neighbors.
